Ants are a far fetch; if they were there we would have detected them by now, unless they are only underground. That is possible but what would they survive on? There would in our belief on earth at least have to be plant life, or plankton if there is water underground, meaning they could be there and we never see them on our probes, but I think at least one would make its way up even by mistake so we would find it or part of it.
